Sometimes referred to as the Met Gala of the West (since it was held in Los Angeles), Taylor step out in a Dior ballgown to attend the gala’s red carpet on Saturday night (October 17).
The “Patient Zero” singer brought a modern Cinderella feel to the carpet in a strapless, icy-blue gown. The soft red bodice gives way to a beautifully flowing skirt and dramatic train, while the sparkling bow detail at the neckline adds a storybook touch.
She finished off the look with glitter Chopard jewelry and a softly curled, side-swept lob, giving the whole ensemble a polished, romantic finish.

For her jewelry, Taylor chose earrings in a platinum set with 32.40 carats of diamonds, together with a gold ring set with 5.78 carats of diamonds, and a platinum and diamond bracelet. All of the pieces are from the album High Jewelery Collection.

Taylor to close out tonight’s event with a performance. The evening celebrates filmmakers and composers John Carpenterand includes special honors for the Oscar winner Charlize Theron and two-time Oscar nominee Colman Domingo.
In a statement published earlier this month, the Academy announced that she would be among the musicians on the night.
