“Our life since we had our daughter, who is weird and backwards, has been nowhere,” she admitted. The “Daisy Jones & The Six” actress explained that her family has spent a lot of time living in temporary accommodation.
“We’ve been renting and moving every couple of months, and we just haven’t been home,” Waterhouse said. Waterhouse influenced the arrangement due to the demands of her music career and Pattinson’s filming commitments.
The singer has traveled internationally while the “Twilight” actor has been on several major productions. However, she emphasized that their priority is to stay together whenever possible.

Waterhouse admitted that balancing parenthood with two demanding entertainment careers required a major adjustment. “It’s very difficult to make something work where you’re both doing these kinds of jobs,” she explained.
The actress noted that the frequent travel makes it difficult to maintain the kind of routine associated with a traditional family home. However, Waterhouse revealed that she has used a structured parenting approach to create consistency for their daughter.
Waterhouse explained that maintaining regular sleep schedules has become especially important during her tours. She believes that establishing predictable routines allows her child to remain comfortable despite the constantly changing family situation.
“My situation sounds weird, but we’re all out there trying to make it work,” she admitted. The couple are reportedly hoping to take some time off from their demanding schedules next year to decide where to settle permanently.

She explained that she initially believed that she would return to her familiar lifestyle after giving birth. However, the reality was quite different. “You’re humble. You feel so unlike yourself,” she admitted.
Waterhouse described becoming a mother as an unexpected personal transformation that changes a woman’s priorities and sense of identity. “The mother is born into a completely new person,” she explained, describing the experience as something that makes someone almost unrecognizable.
As reported by The Blast, the actress previously admitted that motherhood caused an inner turmoil while affecting her relationship with Pattinson. However, she clarified that the emotional upheaval never meant that she had stopped dating her boyfriend.

The singer gave thanks for the happiness she found with Pattinson, describing their relationship as something she never expected. She also praised their bond with their daughter. “I feel very confident that we are good parents,” said Waterhouse.
Despite their unusual situation, she asked both parents to remain very involved in their children’s lives. “She is such a wonderful, happy girl,” said the actress.
