Lorne Michaels has no regrets about hiring controversial comedian Shane Gillis – or bringing him back to host Saturday Night Live after he was fired for making racist and homophobic jokes. “We had a bad time when I added Shane Gillis to the team [in 2019]Michaels, 79, recalled in an interview with The Hollywood […]

Magliano, 28, then roasted Gillis for accidentally saying “f***” live on air during a Dr. Seuss sketch.

“Last week SNLcomedian Shane Gillis also caused controversy by dropping the F-bomb,” she explained. “Oh Shane, you’re not allowed to say that, you stupid f***ing c***t.”

The uncensored joke was met with boisterous laughter from the SNL UK studio audience as Magliano smiled at the camera.

Gillis’ shooting time was odd from Saturday SNL UK also features the first official crossover between the two versions of the show, as a member of the US cast James Austin Johnson repeat his opinion of the President Donald Trump for a sketch off the UK comedian George Fouracre played the Prime Minister Andrew Burnham.

The controversy surrounding Gillis’ SNL monologue continues a week after he raised more than a few eyebrows by mocking women’s gym clothes on the Studio 8H stage.

“I haven’t been in the gym that long, I didn’t know women just dress like whores now?” Gillis joked. “Look, I’m sorry, there’s no other way to describe it [it]. Have you seen it? I have seen it. Did you see the shorts? Those neons are, like, artificial bait color [shorts]and the wrinkles go around the cheeks as they all come together at the cottage. And do not look! You are not allowed to watch.”

His comments were criticized as sexual by several viewers and fellow actors, including his predecessors SNL casting ball Nwodim money and Schitt’s Creek a star Dan Levy.

“Women in shorts at the gym don’t make them prostitutes,” Levy, 43, told his Instagram followers on Sunday, October 11.

The comedian noted that he had “seen more men’s nipples at the gym than I’ve ever seen women show their bodies off.”

“I’m speechless that something like that can be on live national television,” Levy said. “And to be completely honest, more men need to stand up against it because complacency has created the environment. [in] which women are sexually assaulted, and it’s a conversation rather than a crime.”

He said, “This is not a women’s issue. This is everyone’s issue, because the more men complain about women in the media, the more other men see them as objects and treat them as objects. They’re not objects. They’re better people than men, okay? And I’m sorry if this gets me in trouble with the internet, but f***.”

Saturday Night Live USA will air its next new episode on NBC on Saturday, October 31, at 11:30 pm ET with the host Inside Navarrette and musical guest Gracie Abrams. Cynthia Erivo and Blossoms will be on their heads SNL UK on Sky One on Saturday, October 24.
