The trip to San Francisco is very interesting Bronwyn and Whitney back to their roots on this episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Interestingly enough, both women experience relationship struggles and struggle to be comfortable with the changes. But when Lisa and Meredith take it upon themselves to bring the “entertainment” to Bronwyn’s disco meeting, Bronwyn has had enough of the “hypocrisy and bullsh*t.”
We learn that back in 2011, Justine he took a job in the Bay Area. Whitney admits she was a little lonely, trying to figure out mom’s life so, like FU, she decided to shake her head, ala Britney Spears.
Whitney is annoyed by the way Lisa and Meredith have been disrespecting Bronwyn’s trip and Whitney is just trying to hold on to her true friends because she needs them more than ever. Whitney admits Heather about her marital struggles and explains that she hasn’t been happy in “a while.” She then explains that she moved into the guest room.
Heather is now suddenly the secret keeper of crumbling marriages (ie: Angie and now Whitney). Whitney feels like Justin raised her and she is not sure what their future is, as this is the second time they have talked about separating since the last time 10 years ago.
Lisa explains that she was tired during the fight last night and she blames Bronwyn for saying that she was strategizing with Meredith about how to attack. In reality, it was UK who made that comment. Lisa is tired of the group, claiming that the women are like mirrors revolving around a single brain cell.
Whitney wears her gag (for a moment) and Bronwyn tells her that her boyfriend is here, now on the girls’ trip. No one is thrilled to have her boyfriend come out with them, but Bronwyn wants her friends to meet San Fran Brandon.
Since the group hasn’t had any issues on a boat in the past (LOL), they jump aboard and hope for the best.
Angie approaches Lisa and shares the golden ratio of beauty. Angie puts some shade on Lisa about her lips and Lisa says that she didn’t think twice about the things that God didn’t give her. Lisa is just trying to have fun despite the incessant digging so, the night before, she hatches a scheme with Meredith to create a disco album for a disco night. And honestly, their lyrics about “hypocrisy and bullsh*t” really flow well, highlighting the group’s recent antics.
Bronwyn talks about being homesick, because she was the best version of herself in San Francisco. She doesn’t want to go back in time, but she gets emotional thinking about her past and her future. Bronwyn admits that she has burned everything to the ground and now she has the chance to do whatever she wants with her life. Whitney feels connected to Bronwyn because she is literally going through the same thing as her, Bronwyn doesn’t know it yet.
Angie almost makes it all the way on the boat, but she cries at the end. It is unlikely that she will attend the disco party. Speaking of the party, Bronwyn is busy playing host, melting down all the different friendships and proudly showing off her new boot.
In the meantime, Heather is making a helluva impact. Heather accepts that Todd paid for this trip to San Fran, so that would mean that Todd would basically pay for Bronwyn’s boyfriend to come there as well. Nonsensical. Meredith says that Heather is implying that Bronwyn’s boyfriend is only with her because she is paying him AND that Todd, unbeknownst to him, is funding this relationship. Deceitful, deceitful.
As soon as Britani arrives, Bronwyn grabs a mic to talk to her friends who are at this reunion to celebrate this new time in her life. Lisa and Meredith watch stock as Bronwyn talks and then start planning their first DJ tour. Baby G (aka Lisa) comes out with the microphone as DJ Meredith Marks enters the booth. The “Glam Kittens” proceed to perform their original bop “Hypocrisy and Bullsh*t,” which of course upsets Bronwyn since this is her party. Bronwyn says she is “devastated” by this new low and Bronwyn lets Lisa and Meredith know they are not welcome to sit with her.
It’s wrong to sing a disc album in public and the fact that they plan and rehearse it speaks volumes. Meredith claims this was funny, but Bronwyn is disgusted and kicks them out of the party. Bronwyn has tried to be nice and apologize and this is how they pay her back?
Lisa reveals that Bronwyn has been lying about her and being mean to her. This song, according to Lisa, is not about Bronwyn, but about all women. After Bronwyn kicks them out, the crowd chants Bronwyn’s name and gets back on the mic, but she is interrupted by a large crowd.
Before Lisa and Meredith left the building, they played a part of their song on the way out. Talk about disrespect. This in turn causes Bronwyn to leave her own party for the evening as it has gone on too long. Lisa is confused as to why Bronwyn is taking all of this so personally and Meredith says that they were just having fun. Maybe Bronwyn takes it so heartily because that’s what she thinks is true about herself? They were just two glam kitties making “general statements…”
