Karen bent on putting himself first and Courtney opens up about fertility issues in this episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac. Ashley planning a trip to Bethany Beach (here’s hoping it’s better than the last one) and Wendy face Tia and her husband with tough questions. This seems to be an important chapter for many of these women in their marriages and relationships.
Karen is just trying to have fun and loves being around Ashley…in a dress shop. She says that her husband, Rayshe asked out to dinner, which is great because they are working on their marriage.
Courtney joins the ladies and talks about being a minister. She says it’s been a lot of pressure to stick to a certain standard, but she has no problem parading around the shop in a real one for Karen and the rest of the world.
Ashley questions Courtney about her car videos regarding her predictions and one in particular that went viral. Courtney believes it was never meant to be a fear and says she has been prophesying all her life. She says that she has seen angels passing by and dead relatives visiting her. So that’s something new about Courtney.
Tia and her mother go out for a meal together. Tia asks her mom to talk to her husband about the dating app situation, but her mom plays a role Rob. Tia explains that her father had a whole other family, so maybe her mother isn’t offended by Rob “with his ugly photos on a dating app.” Tia remains cool, calm, and collected about the whole affair.
Gizelle going to Congress. She is ready to tell her story so that fewer people have to die from brain tumors and brain cancer. Her father’s death was very sudden so she still tries to do things in his honor. Gizelle can’t wait to make her father proud.
Ashley talks about the changes in her home – now her cousin and her boyfriend live with her. There is also a new nanny! Ashley feels very responsible to give back to her family, so when her uncle comes to visit, she brings up the idea of getting a family beach home (well, since she got $20 million out of her divorce!!) that she could rent out. Ashley wants to financially split this home with her uncle – a family effort, if you will.
Wendy explains that the issues with Eddie stay outside the home to maintain a normal atmosphere with the children. Wendy tells Eddie that Tia and Rob are only living together now, and that they are not having sex. Eddie says he knows what that’s like…
Wendy talks about Gizelle’s advice for sticking together during this difficult time. Eddie wonders if Wendy is forced to stay with him or if she still loves him despite the legal problems. Both claim that they love each other, but admit that they are a job.
Gizelle went to six different transport offices to tell her story. She believes that everyone is on board because it is important to get the funding to help future generations.
Stacey, Thiemand the girl goes out across town to tea. The goal is to tell her about their reconnection, but the food gives her more attention. After a while, their daughter reveals that she thinks it would be good to have her parents back together and start preparing for their wedding.
Ashley is planning a trip to Bethany Beach because she is looking for her family’s vacation home. Tia is her realtor so she thinks this is a fun girls trip. Gizelle is not excited, since the last time they did this time, things didn’t go so well. Robyn feels like Ashley is just trying to have drama with someone, but she plans to take the trip anyway.
Courtney opens up about her fertility test. Her egg reserve is on the low end because it is possible to conceive. She is very worried, but her husband, Alexdoing a good job comforting her. Courtney feels a great sense of responsibility because she was working on her career and felt like she missed her window. Another obstacle she has to overcome is the loss of a fallopian tube and an ovary after a procedure about 10 years ago. The odds seem stacked against them getting pregnant again.
Karen says she moved into separate bedrooms when she got sober. This way she can take care of herself, but still live in the same house as Ray. Unsophisticated Karen was funnier and sexier than Ray. He explains that he was surprised that Karen didn’t come home and “tear” him “up.” Ray admits that he felt that Karen always drank more than he thought was normal. Karen tells Ray that he doesn’t even know her and that she doesn’t know what the future holds for them as a couple. Karen is no longer willing to sacrifice herself for anyone.
Tia goes on a double date with Eddie and Wendy. This dinner is the first time they are going out as a couple and although the silence is deafening between them, Tia is happy to be doing this. Wendy explains that everyone seems to be in an interesting place with their relationships and wonders if this is the darkest time for Tia and her Rob.
Tia doesn’t believe that pictures on the internet are the darkest moment of her life and Wendy pushes to find out if there was infidelity. Wendy asks all the questions and Tia thinks it’s a bludgeoning tactic. Wendy wonders why Tia always travels without Rob and feels that maybe that’s why Rob is so lonely… Wendy completely asks Rob why he feels lonely.
Wendy thinks Tia has been avoiding asking Rob these questions, so she’s just going to help her. Rob says he is embarrassed for his wife and says they will work through their issues. Wendy says they’re rooting for them as a couple, and Tia flips it, saying she’s rooting for Wendy and Eddie too.
Tia asks Wendy how much their children know about their criminal case and we learn that the older one Googled their names. It doesn’t matter how hard things get, the wives believe that they have made it to the other side with their husbands.
Eddie explains that Wendy was caught off guard when it all came to a head, and now she’s getting into the weeds. At the time, Wendy did not know what was going on according to Eddie. Again, it looks like Eddie could be responsible for their legal drama.
“I think it’s just one of those things that you know for example, if you’re obligated to pay the mortgage every month, and then 9 months later, the sheriff comes to your door saying it’s time for you to get out of the house. [because] you didn’t pay the mortgage,” said Eddie as he gave an example in explaining what caused tension in his marriage to Wendy.
He said, “This is one of those situations where Wendy was caught off guard… She’s not handling things. She didn’t know anything was going on.”
Maybe it’s time to take Karen disk advice and zip it? It has to be said that if they don’t intend to take a plea deal, that’s saying a lot and seems to imply some offense on Eddie’s part.
Wendy then warns that “even if you have the role, you still need to know everything that goes on in your house.” Visit.
