RHOP Recap: Wendy confronts Gizelle for calling her a scammer, Robyn calls out Gizelle for her on-air comments about Tia’s marriage

On this episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, aunt mom visits for three months, which could ease the marital tension ever since the dating app scandal.

Courtney holding a birthday party for her husband Alex in hopes of bringing the men of the group together, but the only thing that comes out of the event is a lot of drama. Ashley he did a good job of moving the pot and Gizelle has blown. Stacey throwing some shade in Courtney’s direction and Robyn and Gizelle’s podcast continues to be the center of attention.

Karen reveals that her relationship with her husband has been in trouble before she went back. (Remember when he said “I think I love her?”) She leans into her trauma therapist and even though she’s a reality star, she realizes this has to be done ONLY for her. AKA- no cameras will enter the session.

Gizelle meets Robyn and they wait for Ashley – what else is new? Robyn has noticed that Ashley is not the same version of herself, but Gizelle is desperate to make them okay together.

Robyn finds herself in trouble for her podcast, when in reality, all she wants to do is talk about the news. Robyn explains that Wendy he does not appreciate what was said, but Gizelle has no sympathy. She still says that Wendy is scamming people.

Ashley takes this opportunity to tell Robyn that she is also hurt by the podcast. It seems that Gizelle is leading this piece between Ashley and Robyn, especially since Ashley has become involved as Gizelle’s best man.

Robyn wishes Gizelle and Ashley would stop losing sight of real life. Gizelle should have gone to Tia with that information about her husband, but they just laugh at the thought that Robyn called them fake.

Thiem and Stacey out for a lovely one-on-one dinner. They talk about their relationship and how difficult it was to get back on the same page. Her ex wants Stacey to be more financially responsible and admits that the divorce taught her to be better with money. In the middle of their conversation, Stacey’s dog comes to the table with an engagement ring on it and Thiemo proposes to Stacey again. They decide to get married shortly before he changes his mind. Lol?

Wendy and Gizelle have a date. Wendy has made a donation to the National Brain Tumor Society in Gizelle’s father’s name, which is quite a lot considering the current state of their relationship… which is even more of a reason for Wendy to be upset that Gizelle is openly calling her a scammer. Wendy points out the cultural influences as Nigerian and Gizelle admits that she didn’t think about that. Gizelle apologizes, but now that Wendy knows who Gizelle really is, she will keep that in mind.

Gizelle changes the subject for her visit to Congress. She tells her story about her father and asks for advice from Wendy, who is a good public speaker.

Tia shows Courtney and her husband Alexis around a potential new home. DC has really been the place where they want to put down some roots because they are tired of rent. Courtney talks about her life as an event planner and tells Tia that she will be throwing Alexis a birthday party. Men and women are invited.

Gizelle and Ashley host a workout fitness day for GnA. They continue to hold events for charities close to their hearts. Robyn joins in and they discuss the upcoming birthday party for Courtney’s husband.

Gizelle tells the women how amazing Wendy was giving her advice about Congress and Robyn talks about the podcast. She knows Tia is more worried about telling her kids, but Gizelle is out here running her mouth while reading a listener’s letter. Gizelle mentioned Tia’s situation on air, but luckily, Robyn edited it out. Robyn asks why Gizelle isn’t worried about being friends. Gizelle makes it clear that their job is not to “put Tia’s business on the streets.”

Courtney knows what she’s doing throwing a party – don’t forget she was expecting of Cynthia Bailey wedding. Courtney is excited to celebrate her husband AND for him to meet all the men…well, not Karen’s husband. She simply didn’t invite him. Tia comes alone, too. So much for the men to attend.

Gizelle takes this moment to confront Tia for telling Wendy about the “s” word. That’s something they will look at again, but Monique into the party. Tia takes it back and says that it is rich in Gizelle to say what can be said and what can’t be said. Ashley told Tia that Gizelle brought her business to the podcast. Ashley says she filled her in so Tia could get in front, but it just feels fake to me.

Gizelle tells Tia that she won’t tell her anything again. Tia doesn’t want a relationship with Gizelle because it means as long as Gizelle gets a check, it doesn’t matter who she throws under the bus. Tia is trying to protect her children and she feels that Gizelle is trying to get the information out.

When Robyn enters the party, Robyn confirms that Gizelle mentioned her condition on the podcast and this makes Gizelle admit that she said it. Looks like Robyn is finally holding people accountable.

No one brought the extra to this party, which is strange when Courtney brings the birthday boy out to meet the group. Ashley is late, but now she’s the “star of the night” because she’s the one who told Tia about the podcast snafu.

When Ashley arrives, she brings her boo, one of the only guys at the party. More and more people enter and the women hear about Stacey’s re-engagement. They are all excited to have a wedding…again. Stacey says she has a wedding planner… who is very “credible,” which sounds like Courtney’s latest dig.

Courtney points out that Stacey called her a few weeks ago and felt that Stacey was preparing her to be a designer. Stacey bursts out describing the incident to Courtney and luckily the tension is broken the moment Cynthia enters. Courtney admits to Cynthia that these women are crazy.

Ashley admits that she thought it was weird for Robyn to talk about editing Gizelle’s podcast in front of people. What is the reach. Robyn makes it clear that Gizelle talked sh*t, so she’s not the bad guy.

Ashley and Robyn got into a screaming match at dinner on the RHOP

Robyn reminds Ashley that she was the one who started the whole thing by going on stage and laughing at Tia’s situation. The women get into a screaming match, going back and forth about who’s worse, which is hilarious. Eventually the attention is turned back to the birthday boy and the night ends with a (forced) toast.
