Milania Giudice confirmed a series of mental health diagnoses on Instagram on Monday.
As Milania, a 20-year-old daughter of Real Housewives of New Jersey a star Teresa Giudice54, that she was currently in a mental health facility receiving treatment, admitted that she was in the “worst time of [her] life,” apparently referring to her domestic violence arrest in May and the death of her longtime best friend, Victoria Zardoyain July.
“Hello everyone, my name is Milania Giudice for those who don’t know. I was waiting to make this video for when I look good or whatever, but honestly, that’s not me. I’m a very raw, real, authentic person, and that’s what I will continue to be,” Milania began in a video message shared on October 12.
After apologizing to Mother Teresa following an airport altercation with her and her older sister, Yes, Judge25, when Teresa said Milania had fentanyl in her system, Milania apologized to her fans and followers.
“I want to apologize publicly because I don’t think I’ve been using my platform the way I want to use it. Since I was a little kid, I told my family and my parents that I want to help people in life, and that’s what I want to do.
“Social media is like an onion. You see layers of people’s lives, and you, frankly, have seen the worst and worst times of my life, and this was the worst time of my life,” she continued.
Milania then opened up about her “struggle with mental health issues”.
“I’m bipolar; I struggle with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and ADHD. And I’m not ashamed of my mental health issues because I’m in treatment right now,” she said, adding that Teresa was on her way to visit.
“I’m working on myself. But you know what? I’m only 20 years old, and this summer hit me like a bus,” she said. “A lot of things happened in a short period of time, and I’m trying to process everything, and it’s really hard to be in the public light while I’ve been going through things in my life, so I just want to say I’m sorry.”
Milania also said that she was raised on “real respect [and] love.”
“I just haven’t been showing the Milania that I want to show, and I want to do it better, and I’m going to continue working on myself and trying to change everything I’ve been posting and everything completely because I want to help people in their lives,” she vowed.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 15 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime later this year or early next year.
