‘RHONJ’ alum Kim DePaola defends herself over video of Teresa Giudice’s daughter Milania

The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Kim DePaola he has never been shy from sharing his thoughts on all things related to the show.

Recently, Kim shared a video that she is taking a lot of heat for.

“What’s up?😩” Kim captioned the video. “Sometimes you don’t dance because you’re celebrating… you dance because you’re processing. 🕊️ There’s been a lot going on. So much loss, so much chaos, family drama, heartbreak, mental health struggles, and things happening in the world that leave you asking one simple question… What’s going on? This one hits a little different.”

Kim was quickly criticized for the film, as some critics were concerned that she would dance over the footage she showed due to the heartbreaking and personal nature of these events.

Never one to back up, Kim took to her Instagram story to defend herself.

“Let me make something very clear,” she said. “The video I made, I wasn’t dancing; I was moved to music that moved me. I lost someone who was my son to fentanyl. It changed me forever. I was never the same, ever. All right? This is a war against our children. Fentanyl is a war. I made the video to open eyes.”

Kim said, “Anyone who thinks I would do it to celebrate or do anything like that, you’re the haters, and you’re the savages.. So you can say anything you want about me, you can do anything you want to me. I’ll get that, and I’ll take it. But I wouldn’t celebrate anyone else’s pain, okay? I have that pain. I live with that pain of losing a young boy to fentanyl. All right? So I just had to clean that up.”

When Instagram account @bravosnarkside shared the video, which they captioned, “Girl what!” Kim took the comments to speak out.

“Only hate-filled people would take this video the wrong way!” Kim responded. “I lost a boy to fentanyl, he was like a son to me! I just wanted to take care of this war!”

Kim also spoke to only Blurb reality about the person she mentioned losing to fentanyl, William Lafontainewho died in 2019.

“He was my son, he lived with my mother and I, and he died of fentanyl,” she said. “The people who say I said or did anything negative are haters! I’ve been getting a lot of love in my DMs with stories of people’s misfortunes.”
