Real Housewives of Orange County stars Vicki Gunvalson and Shannon Beador have been good friends for a long time.
After Vicki, 64, discussed the financial status of Shannon, 62, in a public forum, their relationship split on the Real Housewives of Orange County after show podcast.

“Not all the time,” Vicki said. “But I’m close to Shannon. I’m not enemies.”
“Well, I mean, I’m not going to lie, to hear that Vicki [chuckles] to describe her relationship with me, that is painful. That wasn’t my answer,” Shannon said on the podcast in response to Vicki’s comment about their “uneven” relationship. Yeah, I don’t know. It is what it is.”
“I don’t think Shannon and my relationship has changed at all,” Vicki said. “She lives in Newport, I live in Coto, we’re about half an hour apart. It doesn’t bother me. We go to the same hair place, we go to the same nail place. I lead her with my bookie, so she follows my lead on that, and she respects me, so we have a really nice relationship.

While Vicki noted that she is “always” talking to Jeff, 56, about Shannon and he “wanted her to buy a home too,” Shannon had a different take.
“Why are you talking about my financial situation in public?” Shannon questioned on the After Show podcast. “It’s not Vicki’s business to discuss it on a radio show, for goodness sake.”
RHOC newborn Carmella Garcia also piped in to share her dismay at Vicki’s treatment of Shannon.
“I can’t stand the way she treats Shannon,” said Carmella, 44. “I don’t like it; it drives me crazy. Shannon is such a beautiful person. You should be saying nice, nice things about your friend because you love them. You don’t cut your friends down.”
“I don’t think Vicki is hiding it,” Gina Kirschenheiter42, said in. “So she’s showing you what you mean to her. Shame on Shannon if she doesn’t make a change there.”
Vicki and Shannon have not commented further on their relationship.
