Alexis Bellino she opened up about her beef Heather Dubrow forward Carlos King‘s podcast on Friday after the two of them were seen butting heads on the October 1 episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
After Alexis, 49, and her husband, John Janssen63, who is the ex-boyfriend of a cast member Shannon Beador62, attended Judge TamraAt a launch party for her new Vena CBD/THC seltzers, where Heather, 57, talked about skipping Alexis and John’s wedding and accused Alexis of going on a press tour against her, Alexis suggested that Heather had turned on her in an effort to stay on good terms with viewers.
“She only started liking me when the audience started not liking me. We were very close even during filming. She was trying to be there. We were on the phone non-stop,” Alexis said in the October 2 episode of Truth With The King.
Alexis went on to say that Heather had divulged information that she should never have, as the details were shared in the middle of a private conversation between the two of them and John, and she wondered what Heather’s reactions to it would be. “Everything is going on because she’s in there and she’s saying these things. [WWHL]and then she says, ‘So Alexis decides to go on a press tour and call me untruthful,’ Alexis continued, denying that she went on a press tour against her.
“I’m not looking for fame — maybe that’s a projection — but I went on Tamra’s podcast,” she explained. “I just went on a podcast that’s a good friend of mine and she had a podcast, and her name was brought up, and that’s a world tour, a press tour? No, sweetheart…I went on one podcast, I said something that’s kind of true about you, you didn’t like it, so now you’re going to hate me even more and go after me because you have the platform.”
After Alexis suggested that Heather wasn’t a real friend, but a TV friend, on Tamra’s podcast, she showed up to Tamra’s event, where Heather accused her of giving her a “view,” which she denied.
According to Alexis, she thinks Heather is “absolutely senile at this point.”
“I simply called her untruthful on one thing, meaning she lacks character, like a little bit of character, because she couldn’t just say, ‘Why can’t you be friends and go to the wedding even though you’re friends with Shannon?’ We are more than 50 years old women. Why the hell are we still worried about who to marry and if it’s ok if there is another friend [approves]? If a friend tells me who I can and cannot be friends with, the door is there,” she said.
Reflecting on their spat, Alexis said she was “baffled” and still “mad”.
“Why do I owe you an apology? Why do I owe you?” she was surprised. “Did you think I gave you a dirty look? Well, I think you’re making sense to me now … and I think you were just using me for a plot. Do you want me to say that? I think you were just using me. I’m just another guinea pig. I’m not a cast member. It leaves you, it’s easy for you to use me and John because, oh, we wakes us up, and we move it.”
Also on the podcast, Alexis confirmed that she paid John to attend the launch with her.
“My husband didn’t even want to go. I hate paying him under the table to go – in favor,” she said.
