Season one Real Housewives of Orange County the reunion took place in Vickiand grotto in the backyard, so it’s only fitting that this set is back where it started. After 20 seasons, the OG of the OC still holds that orange, but a lot has changed, including the addition of a few “new girls”. Carmella gets the most heat from Vicki and the gang tries to figure out just how two-faced Heather really yes…
Andrew delighted to honor two decades of the OC. Gene wearing TWO of her engagement rings for the event and Shannon talking about her new home (NOT cheaper). Heather did not bring her mother to the reunion, however Jenn finally set a wedding date in Cabo (yes, Tamra is invited). Emily agrees that she has created a tarttrap on Instagram and Carmella just shows up with no preparation. Things are going very well with Tamra and Eddie and Vicki talking about her knee surgery 2 days ago, hence the wheelchair.
The OC’s whoop it up OG personality was questioned throughout the season. Vicki explains that she has not retired yet and says that her duties do not end when she is filming. Viewers were rough on Vicki, who admits she was more reserved and quiet this year. Carmella reminds Vicki that she is where the fight came from, which is rich because she says she hates fighting.
in terms of DonVicki admits that if he called her tomorrow and said he wanted to get back together, she would say, “Well, we have a lot to talk about.” She explains that she misses the family aspect of the whole relationship.
Vicki’s boyfriend will now be a hot topic of conversation. Jenn shares that Mike she let him go after calling their relationship “sad.” Mike has to apologize for aggressively calling Jenn at 10pm, but Vicki says she can’t be held responsible for his behavior.
Shannon also had an awkward situation with the infamous Mike A Quiet Woman. In a heated moment, Mike threatened, “Do you want to go there?”, an aggressive question to ask anyone. Shannon says she was humbled and he was humbled, but they worked through it.
Mike bought Vicki a ring, but no one saw the ring. Carmella doesn’t feel like any of this makes sense. Vicki admits that she wouldn’t tell Mike if he proposed tomorrow because she’s not ready, which might explain why he’s still proposing.
Shannon was by Tamra’s side when she had a breakdown this season – a huge milestone. Shannon never went as low as Vicki when they weren’t getting along. Right now, Shannon and Tamra are good, but not according to Tamra. Tamra heard that Shannon said she has to keep Tamra away so she is confused if they are really friends. Shannon explains that she can’t go where they were years ago, but maybe Shannon’s mixed signals are throwing Tamra off.
When Andy calls for a break, the women joke about Vicki once she’s gone. Apparently, after Vicki’s surgery, she was on a group text with Alex. Shannon is scared, but she remembers that Vicki was joking John at the 20 year party.
Carmella announces that she has officially broken up with her boyfriend, Danny. It just wasn’t working and the lack of reality was something Carmella couldn’t live with. Shannon says she loves Carmella. Carmella understands that she has to choose more for herself and this show has forced her to process.
Gina has a great bond with Carmella and admits that she lost herself completely with everything she went through with her ex. She has been able to step into who she really is and Shannon says the show has also helped her gain independence.
Emily’s new body becomes an issue, especially regarding marital problems. Shane admitted that Emily is a good mother and this was the first time he had ever said that to her. Emily just needs to feel seen and is happy to be married to a man who has learned from the season, rather than being angry.
Still no lunch with Vicki and Carmella. Gina admits that she felt a little threatened by Carmella coming on the show and Jenn asks why the women were so surprised that Carmella offered to launch her career. Vicki is called out for being a hypocrite, because she helped Laurie in a season long ago.
Vicki thought Carmella moved here for the show and Carmella admits there is no way she could be the OC full time. Vicki apologizes for bullying Carmella this season, but denies mother shaming her. Vicki still says she didn’t say anything about Carmella being a bad mother, but that’s not how everyone remembers it.
In fact, Vicki said in her confession that it seems like Carmella’s boyfriend does for her work Vicki claims that Danny told her that, but “taking care of” is very different than “raising” children. Why is Vicki attacking moms? Vicki says it’s not about new girls, it’s that she just finds Carmella indecisive.
During a break, Gina comes into Vicki’s trailer. Gina asks Vicki if she wants to be part of this group. Vicki answers yes, but it doesn’t bring happiness.
Heather and Emily are still not well after what has been said in the media. Emily feels like Heather needs to let things slide and Jenn and Carmella point out how fake Heather is. Tamra talks to Heather about what was said to Emily. Heather admits that she is only conscious when she is caring.
Back on set, Heather felt good with everyone during the season, except when Vicki said that the Dubrows inherited their wealth. Vicki has said this several times, but Heather keeps reminding Vicki that it’s not true and that it really bothers him. Terry. Heather reminds everyone that Terry worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken and that Vicki has to close.
Jenn explains that Heather was talking about Tamra before the season and now she suddenly wants to heal her character. Jenn points out that Heather is mitigating circumstances, especially since Heather is leading the charge on last year’s Tamra-sh*t-talk post convo reunion.
According to Heather, Jenn wants Tamra to go down and she wants Heather to do it. Shannon reminds us and reminds everyone that Heather called her the next day. Jenn says that Heather didn’t like that she showed a side of Heather that she doesn’t want exposed.
Heather says one thing on camera that is very different from off camera. Emily says that Heather acts like two different people. While we’re on the subject of sh*t talking, let’s not forget that Gina had a lot to say about Carmella as well.
Everyone starts reminding Heather how many times she called Carmella trashy. Apparently, everyone is aware of Heather’s double-edged behavior. Carmella doesn’t see Heather as the real deal.
Gina wonders why Heather used Carmella as a realtor, when she has been her friend for a longer time. Heather does her best to remind Gina that she is joking, but Gina feels that Heather is just being too sensitive. Gina even went so far as to say that Heather acts like the “coolest, brightest kid in the sandbox,” but no one wants to be friends with her. Heather hits back saying, “It takes someone secure, strong and successful to be my friend and that might not be you.” Boom.
