Oliver Hudson reveals how his famous family plays into the expectations he sets for himself.
The 50-year-old actor discussed his insecurities during the season 5 premiere of Special Forces: The toughest test in the worldwhich premiered Thursday (Sept. 24) on Fox.
“Coming from a successful family, I wrestle with comparison. I wrestle with insecurity,” he said during a confession during the program.
He said mother, Goldie Hawnis an “image” and he sometimes feels that a part of him needs a bigger achievement to make his family “really proud of me.”
Oliver grew up with Goldie and her longtime husband Kurt Russellwith siblings Kate Hudson and Wyatt Russelleach People.
His career has included a variety of sitcoms and dramas. Oliver opposite star Jenna Fischer forward Splitting up together and he worked with Patrick Warburton forward Rules of participation. Viewers may recognize him from Nashville, Scream Queensand The Pure Lady.
He has also worked with his family members. Oliver appeared next to Kurt in Christmas history and co-hosts the podcast Sibling Revelry with Kate.
