Sleep tight! tarte founder and CEO Maureen Kelly is here to help you get a good night’s sleep, or at least look like you did.

“The best girls’ nights are about the little rituals that you don’t grow out of, doing your makeup together, ordering your favorite food, putting on a movie, and staying up way too late talking. …
Although the dress code is comfortable, there is no reason to avoid the glam.
“Put on the glitter and glitter for a girls’ night on the runway. Getting ready can be an event.
As for what’s in Kelly’s overnight bag? The entrepreneur has some favorites.
“My biggest thing is not to overcomplicate it. Start with good skin prep, then focus on a few products that make you feel your best. For me, that’s a little contour tape, a little blush to liven up my face, mascara, and a good lip. …
Changing beauty secrets is part of the fun, but some products require a more personal touch.
“There are four of us tape format options because you can get the right shade and still need another formula. The OG is for oily or combination skin and gives you full coverage with a matte finish. The cream has a built-in eye cream, so you get that coverage with extra hydration. The stick is your swipe-and-go option for blurring and spot coverage, while radiant gives you medium coverage with more shine, so your skin still shines through.”
And when night falls, there’s one step she never skips.
“Take off your makeup! I love that of ours mascara tubing coming off with just warm water because at the end of a long day, nobody wants another project. Then moisturize, put your phone down, and allow yourself to be done for the night. I need that reminder too,” she gushes.
Even if you stay up past your bedtime, there is still a way to look bright the next morning.
“More tiredness doesn’t have to mean more makeup. A little product makes a big difference. I swear by the dot-and-dash method with contouring tape for an instant eye lift. Add a dot at the inner corner to brighten and a little dash at the outer corner and blend up for a lifted look. You don’t need that big triangle of concealer under your eyes. … looking exactly like you’ve been saying for eight hours. Espresso shot for your eyes.”
Concealer may work like caffeine for dark circles, but a true pick-me-up calls for something else.
“FINSUUL energy, focus and hydration in one stick, because my morning routine requires me to multitask as much as I do and coffee can’t keep up.”
