Ken Urker’s sister calls Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s actions
Less than 24 hours after Ken Urker’s death was reported, his on-and-off partner, Gypsy Rose Blanchard, gave an exclusive interview discussing the circumstances of his death.
Now, Urker’s sister, Foghar, is speaking on behalf of her family and expressing her disapproval of Blanchard’s actions.
“We are disappointed with her statements. She has not even called my mother or any of us yet,” said Foghar The Daily Mail in a separate interview.
In her statement, Blanchard said Urker died of an overdose, although she wasn’t sure if it was an accident or intentional. An autopsy has been completed, but toxicology results are still pending. An official cause of death has not been determined.
Autumn Claims Gypsy Rose demands attention
Autumn went so far as to claim that Blanchard was “to blame” for her brother’s death, noting that it all started “because of him.”
Urker and Blanchard met as pen pals while the latter was serving time for trying to kill her mother. They were engaged in 2018, but went their separate ways after a few months. Blanchard married Ryan Anderson, but they separated months after she was released from prison in December 2023. She reconnected with Urker in 2024, and they welcomed a daughter, Aurora, that same year.
“She had to be in the spotlight. She had to be that girl,” Foghar said, accusing Blanchard of not caring if she hurt others. “She loved all the attention at the expense of everyone around her,” she said.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard talked about her dream wedding
In May, a few months before Urker’s death, Blanchard sat down with TMZ and shared what she wanted her dream wedding to look like. Although she said neither she nor Urker felt pressured to tie the knot, she suggested the pressure came from “the world”.
Unlike her first wedding, which took place in prison, Blanchard said she wanted a “big wedding” with the father of her child, with a “poofy” dress and members of her family.
After Urker’s death, Blanchard described him as an amazing father and said she would make sure their daughter grew up knowing he was an “amazing” man.
Ken Urker’s sister believes it was an accident
More information came out after news of Urker’s death. According to police records, officers found Urker “dead on arrival” at his home in Louisiana.
Syringes, a spoon, brown stuff, shot glasses, and a handgun were on a night stand by his bed. No gunshot wounds were found on his body, per PEOPLE.
Not much information has been released to the public, but Foghar believes that her brother’s death was accidental. “I have more details, so we’re just keeping them private,” she said.
Foghar remembered her last conversation with Urker, when he said, “I love you,” as he usually did at the end of a call. She described her brother as a “great man” who “tried to love the broken.”
