Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson he is unrecognizable in newly released photos from the upcoming film Music of the Lizard.
As seen in new photos, the 54-year-old actor traded his bald looks and muscle build for gray hair, wrinkles, age spots, and a scruffy ol’ beard.
Filming the fantasy adventure in Brooklyn, New York on Tuesday, his appearance is a big departure from the action hero roles we are used to seeing him. And yet, this new look has its own charm!

The character of the Rock is called the Fear Chicken — the interesting A 70-something man who carries a chicken named Claudia.
Based on the children’s novel from the 1970s, the story is about Music of the Lizard begins when a boy is young, played with Theo Clark Lebercomes across a mysterious television broadcast in which lizards play music. Curious about the strange discovery, the boy begins to investigate and finally meets the Chicken Man.
Sounds wild and whimsical, that’s for sure!
Directed by Benny Safdiee, the film is scheduled to release on Christmas Day 2027.
