Milania Giudice in the midst of a mental health crisis, but will the 20-year-old’s airport incident be addressed The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 15?
After seeing Milania lash out at her mother, Teresa Giudice54, and older sister, Yes, Judge25, at Tampa International Airport, telling Teresa to “shut the f*ck” because Teresa said she had fentanyl in her system, it has been confirmed by multiple sources that Bravo executives have made a strong decision regarding possible footage.
“This is too difficult even for Bravo,” one network insider told The US Sun on September 30.
While cameras often pick up once the seasons come to an end (production on season 15 ended a few weeks ago) if something big happens, that won’t be the case with the Milania airport incident. Regarding her arrest in May for domestic violence, which many believed was against her father, Luis Ruelas52, it is unclear whether scenes were filmed. For now, Bravo is hoping to distance itself from its involvement in the scandal.
“An entire generation grew up with cameras inside their homes, filming divorces, screaming matches, arrests and family breakdowns,” the source said. “Those kids are adults now, and people inside the network are starting to wonder what that show did for them. They didn’t choose reality television; their parents did.”
“Now some of these kids are struggling as young adults, and Bravo really doesn’t want to seem like it’s taking advantage of the outcome. Whatever happens next, nobody wants cameras chasing a vulnerable young woman just because America watched her grow up,” the insider continued.
Rob Shuter was the first to report that Bravo would not include footage of Milania’s final event on his Naughty But Nice Substack.
While the Giudice family has remained tight-lipped about Milania’s mental health struggles, which were sparked by the death of her best friend in July Victoria ZardoyaTeresa offered a lengthy statement on Instagram after her fentanyl claim was revealed.
“The last few months have been very difficult for my family, and I feel it is important to say something while protecting my daughter at a very vulnerable time in her life,” said Teresa. “Milania has experienced extreme heartbreak and significant psychological trauma after losing two of her best friends. Grief affects everyone differently, and watching your child try to process that kind of loss is something no parent can truly prepare for.
“At this time, we respectfully ask the media and the public eye to give Milania and our entire family the privacy and space we need as we navigate together.
Milan’s father, Joe Giudice54, also spoke out in a statement to Page Six.
“I know my daughter. I know her heart, and I know that what people see from the outside doesn’t tell the whole story about what someone experiences privately,” he said. “There have been difficult times, but those times do not define who Milania is as a person. I love my daughter, and I will always stand by her.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 15 is expected to premiere later this year or early next year on Bravo.
