Hayden Panettiere’s engagement ring is missing
More than a month after the death of Hayden Panettiere at the age of 36, it is reported that her family and close friends are looking for the engagement ring of the actress from her ex-boyfriend, Wladimir Klitschko. They believe that someone she was with in her last days sent her belongings, including the ring, per The Blast.
In August, Panettiere’s mother, Lesley Vogel, said that Brian Hickerson, who was with the actress when she was found dead, was paying for some of her daughter’s things, such as an old guitar. An anonymous source also backed her claim.
She also said that her daughter was shocked when she discovered that her partner had gone and gone and kept some of her belongings in a storage unit.
Wladimir Klitschko wants the involvement of law enforcement to get answers
It seems that Klitschko has been trying to get the engagement ring back but has hit a wall and is asking the authorities to step in.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Klitschko suspects that “a non-family member who was previously connected to Hayden” stole items, including jewelry, and in particular the ring he gave her. He also noted that the pen shop would not release information about transactions and transactions without a request from law enforcement.
Klitschko proposed to Panettiere in 2013 with a six-carat, emerald-cut Montblanc engagement ring, reportedly worth $500,000. The actress said at the time that she collaborated with the luxury brand and created the design.
“I told them my idea over time and tweaking things here and there, it came true,” she said.
Hayden Panettiere’s ex-girlfriend is protecting her estate
Klitschko and Panettiere ended their relationship in 2018, but the actress kept the sentimental and valuable piece of jewelry.
In his application, Klitschko said he was worried that he might not get back what he had before without the intervention of the law. “There is a real risk that any remaining items, including jewellery, believed to belong to Hayden will be sold, transferred or given away irretrievably,” he said.
The document was filed with his petition to be named “guardian of the estate” for Kaya, his 11-year-old daughter with Panettiere.
Hayden Panettiere’s daughter is her only legal heir
Klitschko and Panettiere welcomed their daughter, Kaya, in 2014, who is rumored to be the sole heir to her mother’s estate.
Kaya has been living with her father in Ukraine since 2018, after Panettiere voluntarily signed over full custody to Klitschko to focus on his recovery. Being apart from her daughter was “gut-wrenching” for the actress, but they have formed a strong relationship despite the distance.
The exes had a healthy co-parenting relationship, and Klitschko wants to make sure Kaya’s legacy is protected. He filed an emergency petition in Los Angeles to be the temporary guardian of Panettiere’s estate, which the actress’ family would support.

A few days after the death of the actress, Klitschko took to Instagram and sent a heartfelt tribute to his ex-husband, writing that although they were no longer in a romantic relationship, Panettiere is still an important part of his life.
August 21 marked what would have been the actress’ 37th birthday. She was supposed to celebrate by flying to Ukraine and being with her daughter and Klitschko. She was planning to spend some quality time with Kaya. He shared a photo of his ex on Instagram, noting that even though their plans didn’t go as planned, he and his daughter would be celebrating Panettiere’s “life, her spirit, and the love she brought to this world.”
