Questions about Hayden PanettiereHer final days have continued to unfold weeks after her sudden death at 36.
As her loved ones grieve and work through what she left behind, attention has now turned to some of the personal things that meant the most to the actress.
One special item, Hayden Panettiere’s engagement ring from her ex-boyfriend Wladimir Klitschkomissing, causing concern among those closest to her in the days leading up to her death.
Hayden Panettiere Loves Who Suspect Someone Took Her $500,000 Engagement Ring
Panettiere held on to the engagement ring that Klitschko gave her even after their relationship ended in 2018. However, weeks after her passing, her family and friends could not find the ring.
“Hayden’s engagement ring from Wlad that she’s been holding on to all this time is missing,” a source said Every week.
“Friends and family think someone who was with her in her last days took it when they were putting away her things,” the source said.
The Montblanc ring was said to be worth around $500,000 and was created with Panettiere’s input. The actress previously explained that she had been involved in shaping her design, revealing AND! News in 2013, “I told them my idea over time and tweaking things here and there, it came true.”
It has lost much of its importance because Panettiere kept it long after she ended her relationship with Klitschko, with whom she shared a daughter, Kaya.
Hayden Panettiere spent her final hours with Brian Hickerson

Panettiere was staying at an Airbnb in South Carolina with Brian Hickerson and his brother, Zach, around the time of her death on August 16.
Police responded after receiving a 911 call about the actress, who was found unresponsive.
According to the daily mail, Zach told police that Hickerson had been sleeping in another room before Panettiere was found unresponsive in a chair.
Zach said Hickerson gave Panettiere Narcan while they attempted CPR and contacted emergency responders. Narcan, which can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose, was also found on a mattress inside the loft apartment.
Panettiere eventually died after suffering a heart attack following an accidental overdose. The circumstances surrounding the Airbnb have since received additional scrutiny as questions have surfaced about some of its properties.
Wladimir Klitschko wrote an emotional tribute to Hayden Baker

After Panettiere’s death, Klitschko publicly mourned his ex-girlfriend and reflected on the bond they continued to share through their daughter.
“Our family is going through a time of great shock and sadness,” the former boxer wrote on Instagram. He described Panettiere as an important part of his life despite their relationship ending, saying, “She left this world far too soon.
Klitschko also acknowledged the highs and lows of Panettiere throughout her career. “Nothing will erase the times we shared or the place she had in our lives,” he wrote before ending his message with, “Rest in peace, Hayden. May you find eternal peace.”
He paid tribute again on August 21, which would have been Panettiere’s 37th birthday. Instead of focusing solely on the loss, Klitschko encouraged others to show compassion to those around them, writing, “Be Kind. Love is superpower. Use it.”
Wladimir Klitschko moves to protect the estate of the late actress for her daughter Kaya

Klitschko has since taken legal action against Panettiere’s estate and their 11-year-old daughter. On September 24, he filed a petition seeking to be the temporary guardian of the estate on Kaya’s behalf. People Magazine reports that Kaya is the sole beneficiary of her mother.
Court documents say Klitschko wants the case handled “immediately” so he can move forward with Panettiere’s lawsuit and name an administrator. He warned that there was a “high probability” that property could be “lost, damaged or dispersed” without someone legally empowered to protect it.
Klitschko’s filing also claims that Panettiere had hired security before her death after concerns that someone had gained unauthorized access to her property. Klitschko said locks were changed and some valuables were moved for protection.
The filing also claims that jewelry and other items have disappeared or cannot be accounted for at this time. Klitschko only wants to protect Hayden’s property and ensure that Kaya is not robbed of her inheritance.
Hayden Panettiere’s Lost Ring Rekindles Her Mother’s Claims About Brian Hickerson

Concerns about the missing engagement ring also echo recent allegations made by Panettiere’s mother, Lesley Vogel, about Hickerson and some of her daughter’s other possessions.
In an interview with The New York TimesVogel said Hickerson pawned items belonging to Panettiere, including an old guitar.
She also said her daughter was “shocked” after finding out Hickerson had a storage unit where he kept some of her belongings.
Hickerson has not directly addressed the allegations about the affairs and has yet to officially speak about Panettiere’s death.
