Halle Berrythe lawyer has just published an alarming statement against him Olivier Martinez.
In response to the Oscar ex-winner files for temporary restraining order against her child abuse allegations, lawyer Marina Beck telling TMZ:
“To say this filing is completely unnecessary and intentionally false would be an understatement.”
So right off the bat we have a strong rejection here. She continues, arguing that Olivier is the one with the problem:
“There is compelling evidence, including numerous legal rulings, that Olivier Martinez repeatedly violated court orders and obstructed necessary therapeutic and educational interventions that harmed Maceo, Halle Berry’s infant son – misconduct that Mr. Martinez has already legally sanctioned.”
She then reveals that Halle is “very upset” by all of this but promises that it won’t stop her from fighting:
“In a way, today’s filing is not entirely unexpected from a person with a well-documented history of abusive, possessive and violent behavior. Fortunately, Halle is used to this type of abusive behavior from Mr. Martinez and, while she is deeply saddened, she will not let it stop her from fighting for Maceo’s good and giving him the love and support he needs.
As we mentioned, Halle is accused of choking her 12-year-old son Maceo after an alleged argument over a VR game.
Olivier says that Maceo wanted him to pick him up after what happened and says that Maceo is “frustrated” and needs space from his mother. He filed for a temporary restraining order and is now seeking sole custody.
The court has reportedly granted Olivier’s request, ordering Halle to stay 100 yards away from him. However, she is still allowed to see her son under court-ordered visitation conditions two days a week and every other weekend. This will be in effect until at least October 16, the date of their next hearing.
