Gypsy Rose Blanchard is taking her fight against online harassment directly to Reddit leadership. The reality star took to her Instagram Stories to call out the platform’s CEO to deal with snark communities, saying they have caused harm Kenneth Urcaremental health before his death.
Her message also outlined the priority for the petition she launched in his memory. Along with a call to ban snark pages, Blanchard made it clear she intended to keep pushing. “I have some fight left in me,” she wrote.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard takes her complaint to the CEO of Reddit
Blanchard cited Reddit CEO Steve Huffman in her Stories, asking him to speak to communities dedicated to critical reporting about others. “Calling out Reddit CEO Steve Huffman to address Snark Pages’ use of her platform,” she wrote.
She posted the message along with the hashtag “#bansnarkpages” and an image of the r/GRBsnark community page. She also sent Taylor Swiftand “Who’s afraid of me tonight?” as the sound of the Stories.
Blanchard says the pages damaged Ken Urker’s Mental Health

The most personal part of Blanchard’s message concerned Urker, the father of her daughter, Aurora. “This is what damaged Ken’s mental health and what my petition is going after as priority number one,” she wrote.
Blanchard has previously spoken about the impact she believes the public investigation has had on Urker, who died on October 1 at the age of 34 in Raceland, Louisiana. After his death, Blanchard publicly discussed his mental health problems and said he had faced constant cyberbullying.
Her petition calls for a different approach to harassment reports

Blanchard’s latest plea comes after launching a petition in support of an initiative she calls Kenan’s Law. The proposal focuses on how social media platforms evaluate repeated harassment reports. Her argument is that reviewing articles in isolation can overlook a larger pattern of content targeting one person.
Blanchard’s claim also calls into question Reddit’s enforcement of existing policies. The published platform rules prohibit harassment, bullying, and threats of violence. They also require communities and their members to follow site-wide site standards, along with the individual rules established within each subreddit.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard vows to protect Ken Urker’s memory

The message follows other public efforts to document the treatment she says Urker received. Earlier this month, she shared a record of alleged harassment on various social media platforms.
She has also spoken about wanting his memory to protect their daughter. In a previous statement, Blanchard said she would continue to remember the person she knew away from the online narrative. “I will continue to protect Ken’s memory, I will speak about the man I knew and loved so much, and plead for the honor and respect he deserved in life and still deserves in death,” she said.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard was recently involved in a Louisiana car accident

Blanchard’s latest message comes just days after she was involved in a small car accident in Louisiana.
Louisiana State Police confirmed to TMZ that troopers investigated a crash involving Blanchard in Terrebonne Parish on Oct. 17.
A source told the outlet that the accident happened at an intersection in Houma and that the sunlight in Blanchard’s eyes was a factor. The source also said she had new car insurance.
The event drew attention after a Facebook user posted, “2026 is wild. Gypsy Rose just got fired. FML.”
