Gypsy Rose Blanchard speaks out after her partner Ken Urker dies on his birthday
On Friday, October 2, PEOPLE published a special issue with Gypsy Rose Blanchard following Urker’s death. In addition, she told the outlet that she believes Urker overdosed. In particular, she says, she’s not sure if it was “on purpose or not.”
“He wasn’t in a good state of mind recently,” she explained, noting that Urker died in his bed at his home in Louisiana. “I’m in disbelief. I can’t think. I screamed until my throat burned.”
In addition, the service reports that Blanchard shared an official statement about the death of her partner.
“Kenneth was an amazing father and a very loved man. He will always be my soul mate and my red chain, a bond that time, distance, and even death can never erase,” she said.
In particular, Blanchard explained that Urker was allegedly receiving severe online scrutiny and harassment as a result of their relationship.
“Ken suffered an unbelievable level of public scrutiny and relentless online bullying on social media platforms, including TikTok and Reddit. The cruelty directed at him was something no human being should have to endure.
In the end, Blanchard explained that she wants their daughter, Aurora, to grow up knowing how much her father loves her.
“Above all, Ken loved our daughter, Aurora. She is a beautiful reflection of his enduring spirit, and through her, a part of him will always stay with us. I will make sure she grows up knowing how deeply her father loved her and who he was beyond what strangers on the internet chose to say about him,” she said. “There are no words that can express the depth of this loss. My condolences and condolences to our daughter, our families, and all who mourn Ken at this very sad time. He will be greatly missed, loved and never forgotten.”
Ken Urker’s sister has also spoken out
On Friday, October 2, US Weekly also published a report stating that Ken Urker’s sister, Autumn, went live on TikTok after the news of his death broke. In the exit, Autumn was “breaking down and stealing uncontrollably.” In the end, she revealed that his last words to her were, “I love you.”
