What’s old is new again! Gianna Corvinowho founded NY Archivesthe former star-studded destination including Sabrina Carpenter, Hailey Bieber, Tate MacRae, Ariana Grande, Lily Allen, Elizabeth Hurleyand Anne Hathawaygiving a nostalgic update to summer style.
Known for finding archival pieces for celebrities and influencers, Corvino is expanding her once-only-to-order showroom into a fashion warehouse designed to bring together her finds and new brands on May 31 in New York City.
“NY Archives Collection It really feels like the culmination of years of world building,” she told ET.
“I wanted to create a permanent space where your childhood Barbie dream house meets your adult one.” Sex and the City fantasy From the zebra couches to the pink shelves lined with archival designer shoes and bags, every detail is intentional,” says the entrepreneur.
And while Carrie Bradshaw’s wardrobe continues to dominate mood boards, Corvino’s storefront will feature a rotating selection of curated retailers, allowing shoppers to easily mix trends from the past and present.
“The Collective allows us to create a complete fashion ecosystem,” she explains.
“It’s a place where people can complete their outfit, whether it’s jewelry, shoes, bags, vintage slides, contemporary pieces, 1930s blouses, or Y2K skirts.
For the summer of 2026, the New York native already knows which staples customers should be hunting for.
“I’m obsessed with slides from the 30s through the 60s, wrap skirts, terry cloth looks, capris, sequins, and beading for this summer,” she said.
“People want to shine again in pieces that feel individual and glamorous.”
And when it comes to dressing, Corvino has the perfect recipe.
“Dressing should be like making a sandwich. Keep one layer simple and classic and then add something outrageous or unexpected,” she advises.
“The magic happens when you mix timeless basics with pieces that carry personality and history. If everything is archival and making statements all at once, it can start to feel costume-y,” she continues.
Her combo: “Vintage denim, a white tank top, a vintage jacket, a small bag and really broken-in Chanel ballet flats.”
“I’m very sensitive, so even the imperfections become part of the story for me. The more memories that are attached to a piece, the more meaningful it is,” she notes.
