In the City Season 2 is experiencing some casting changes.

Just a day later it was reported Amanda Butters will not be featured as a full-time member during the sophomore season, Blurb reality can only report that Carl Radke filmed for the upcoming second season of the Bravo series.

Followers of In the City i’ve always wondered why carl isn’t on the show since he’s such a staple Summer House.

As fans know, Carl’s friends and Summer House costars Kyle Cooke and Lindsay Hubbard yes on In the City. And despite the fact that Carl had the story of opening the cafe ‘Soft Bar’, he was not cast on the first season of the show.

Reality Blurb spoke exclusively to an insider who confirmed that Carl has filmed for season two.

“Carl recently signed up for In The City,” an insider said. “He hopes to be on the show more and film as much as they have.”

“He would like to be full-time,” the insider said.

So why wasn’t Carl put on the show first?

According to the source, Carl wasn’t initially made part of the show “probably because he didn’t have a girlfriend.”

Earlier this year, Carl spoke about his absence from the show and explained why he felt he had not been cast.

“They were very focused, it seems, on the next chapter. [People who are] married, or if you have a child, or whatever is going on. Fewer single people,” Carl said back in April on the Morgan pop talking podcast.

“It was more of the couples and the internal dynamics of living in Manhattan. So that wasn’t where I was at this point,” he said. “Yes, launching a business in Brooklyn, all of those things might be interesting, but who knows if there’s a season two? I’d love to be a part of it. But if they don’t want me to be, I’ll still cheer and show up for everything they’ve asked me to do. I’m so proud to be a part of this network.”

On Friday, Variety reported that Amanda “is not expected to return as a full-time cast member — although she could eventually film scenes with Kyle.”

At this time, Bravo has not yet announced when ‘In the City’ season 2 will premiere.
