Hi Days of Our Lives fans, we have Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) in serious danger as Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) gave him a tip on where to find EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) secret warehouse of contraband. Leo ran over and found him Gabby Chic fake bags But his statement could put him in trouble.
Now we know that Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) is desperate to find out who has been counterfeiting her handbags. At first, she accused Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), but Gabi quickly dropped that. Now all eyes are turning to EJ as the person who could be behind this.
Already Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney) got Leo dragged into the Salem PD by making a false call claiming to have robbed a merchant in his hotel room. That was all part of his research piece for the Salem Seer on counterfeit goods. So we have Gabi and Leo and Philip and Gwen all working on this, and soon more people will be involved.
Days of Our Lives spoilers: Leo gets arrested and Gabi vouchers for him
If you remember, Leo got money from Gabi so he could buy a bunch of the demolition Gabby Chic bags from the dark web. Rita obviously knew that was why she called the cops. Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) approached Leo and arrested him. Fortunately, Gabi promised Leo, and he was released from police custody.
DOOL Spoilers: Johnny, Sydney, Chad and Theo examine the shipping documents
Now someone, probably Rita, dropped it DiMera shipping documents that showed irregularities, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) looked at them, and he couldn’t figure it out. But Sydney DiMera (Sydney Malakeh) immediately caught some differences in the weights of the vessels. Now Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) and Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) have been brought into the case as well. Chad talked to Leo about the fake bag this week.
It seems that everyone’s opinions are coming together. They agree that EJ is the person most likely involved in the fake baggage scheme because his name is all over these shipping documents. Sydney told Johnny that ships can add contraband or counterfeit goods after they are weighed at the port.
Theo and Chad have promised to help Johnny sort things out. They want to get hard evidence before taking the information to police commissioner Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu).
Leo ignores warnings and finds the Pier 4 warehouse on Days of Our Lives
Meanwhile, Leo has been digging for information about EJ’s prime suspect for a while, despite warnings from Jada and Javi Hernandez (Jacob Martinez). Jada told Leo to leave the investigation to the Salem PD. Of course, Javi is worried about Leo’s safety because EJ is a bad guy.
It’s the conversation with Chad that prompts Leo to go pick Gwen’s brain for warehouse information she might remember from when she was EJ’s co-conspirator. Gwen, of course, remembered a warehouse on EJ’s Pier 4 that was used for hideous cargo, such as resurrection subjects stored in human-sized man pods.
Leo put on some fishing gear to disguise himself to go to the warehouse, as he was falsely identified Becky’s bait shop. Gwen warned him not to go over there, but Leo hit the jackpot. He found a bunch of knockdown boxes Gabi design in that cargo box.
Then Leo picked a lock on a case and found a lot of money on it Days of Our Lives. But someone knew Leo was there and locked him in the cargo container, so now he’s locked up. He probably doesn’t have cell service to call the cops or Javi or Gwen or anyone.
Spoilers suggest that Leo is captured and Javi races to the docks on DOOL
Soon Leo is in danger. For a moment there it looks like Javi’s boyfriend might be dead and heading to the morgue. In the big Days of Our Lives fall and winter promo, things are looking life and death bad for Leo.
We see a distraught Javi down at the docks answering a 911 call. It appears that other paramedics are there and are working to revive an unresponsive and very pale Leo. He literally looks close to death. Javi checks his pulse and urges Leo to just breathe.
Who attacked Leo Stark? Security EJ or Rita
The question is who attacked him. Was it EJ? Is it Rita now that she is back inside Salem? Did one person lock Leo in the container and then someone else show up and hurt him?
I guess, with EJ using that place for shady storage, he might be getting some sort of surveillance on the bait shop. It could have been DiMera’s mobile security that saw Leo in there and locked him in the box while they called EJ to ask what to do about it.
Rita may be setting up EJ for Dominic Marino on Days
Rita will probably attack Leo, since I suspect she’s the one who left the awesome shipping logs for Johnny to find on his doorstep. That was the first step. At this point it looks like Rita is setting up EJ, which is likely to benefit Dominic Marino (Kyle Pryor), who is her real boss.
If Rita is setting the stage for EJ’s arrest to get him out of Dominic’s way, attacking Leo could be another part of the plan. It would guarantee EJ some quality time behind bars and ends Statesville Prison.
Now, clearly, Leo is in the right place at the wrong time because someone is doing him a lot of harm. It seems like Javi definitely thinks Leo is dead. Maybe someone else calls 911, or maybe Leo gets a call before he is knocked down. But he goes, Javi finds him and he wants to save Leo.
Days of Our Lives: Gwen could find Leo before it’s too late
We could even see Gwen decide to go see her best friend Leo if he texts and she doesn’t respond. She can make sure he doesn’t get into trouble. Maybe Gwen will find Leo and call for help.
Now, according to the promo, things are looking dire for Leo. I suspect this life-or-death scene will happen next week. The big question is can he save Javi, or will Leo Stark be killed?
DOOL Spoilers: Why Leo Lasts Sweden November
Well, I don’t think this is the end of Greg Rikaart’s character. With the November sweep going on, however, I’m not surprised that we’re getting more life or death drama. We just had the death of George O’Halloran (Michael Rose). Xander was also shot. As bad as this looks for Leo, I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
Javi is going to pull Leo back from the brink of death. But Javi is almost losing Leo which is probably why Javi is proposing to Leo soon, as it has been officially confirmed Days of Our Lives spoilers. They are heading to another holiday wedding. Watch the full video on YouTube.
Plus, there’s another scene in the big winter promo where Leo runs up to warn Xander that the Chicago Police coming to Salem arrested for murder. In fact, Leo survives this ordeal so that he can give that warning to Xander. So, I think November is just the height of drama for the fans.
Fans Look Back at Leo’s Con Artist Past on DOOL
Speaking of the fans, I know there are some who are a little excited at the prospect of Leo pushing up daisies. Many viewers have been torn on him since Greg Rikaart first debuted as Leo. He came to Salem as a con artist. And he was working for Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel). It focused on Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) and the family business and fortune.
Leo also looked very bad for being involved with married Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas). If you remember, Leo stole Craig from Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo). Then they were going to get married but drag queen Jackie Cox (Darius Rose) appeared to announce that Leo Stark was in a green card marriage with them. Since his artist days, Leo has grown many fans.
It has also grown on people in it Salem such as Chad and Gabi and Xander and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). Even Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Arianna Horton (Vico Escorcia) have softened to Leo, even though he tormented Sonny and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) at first. So, watch for Leo Stark’s brush with death coming soon and find out if EJ is behind the attack or if it’s Rita or someone else entirely.
