A New York man allegedly murdered his girlfriend and dismembered her body. Damon Foy50, pleaded guilty to killing a 44-year-old man Alberta Dale and keeps her broken head in a bag.

New York man admits to killing ex-girlfriend and keeping her head in a suitcase
According to reports, Damon Foy of Kerhonkson, New York, admitted to murdering Dale and disposing of her body, according to CBS News. The homicide occurred between March 31, 2024, and April 1, 2024, according to the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office. The DA announced on Facebook on Thursday, October 8, that Foy had pleaded guilty to Dale’s murder.
In addition, Foy allegedly dismembered Dale’s remains and kept his severed head in a bag filled with flour, according to the New York Post.
Dale had reportedly recently broken up with Foy before her death, and her family in Pennsylvania requested a well-being check. Additionally, the family filed a missing person’s report with the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office, and a search warrant was obtained for Foy’s residence. His car was located in Foy’s flat, despite Dale having a protection order against him.
Police found a severed head in a suitcase
Documents obtained by the New York Post described the moment authorities opened the bag and discovered Dale’s remains on April 2, 2024. Police reportedly found it after Foy refused to let police touch the bag, apparently because it had dried blood.
“The officers opened the defendant’s bag and found the remains of Alberta Dale, including her severed head,” the documents read. “The remaining parts of her body were not found when the search warrant was executed.”
Foy was subsequently arrested and charged with second degree murder.
Foy reportedly confesses to murder
Foy reportedly confessed to killing Dale. Furthermore, he said he killed Dale because he was kicked out of his home.
“There she is, I killed her,” he said, according to the New York Post. “The only thing she kept doing after all the time through the whole relationship was just playing me, playing me as a fool, playing me as a sucker, and just taking advantage of the whole f*cking system. That’s it. I was told to leave my own home. I was told to leave my own home, not her name bill, and I was told to leave my own f-king home. Come out clearer.
Foy reportedly accepted a plea deal and is expected to be sentenced to 23 years to life, according to Fox News. Foy’s sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 16.
