Chuck Lorre bounces back after White House scandal

Chuck Lorre he responded after the White House said he should “seek psychiatric help” after being criticized President Donald Trump.

“A spokesperson for the White House recently announced that I need psychiatric help,” he wrote in the message. “I disagree. I’m not a fan of mood-altering drugs or electroshock therapy, you know, Cuckoo’s Nest stuff, but I’d be up for a conversation with a trained professional who gently encourages me to seek out childhood experiences that negatively affect my thinking and behavior.”

Lorre then jokingly listed several possible reasons for his “uncertainty.”

Lorre found himself on the wrong side of the White House after he blasted Trump during his Founders Award speech at the Project Angel Food charity gala in Los Angeles on September 26.
