For Brooke Hoganthe sale of her father’s mansion in Florida is about much more than a multi-million dollar property changing hands.
The home holds memories of ordinary family times, years of caring for a wrestling legend through serious health struggles, and the final chapter of their time together.
Now that the home has been sold, Brooke has directed an angry message to people she believes benefited from her father’s fame, accusing them of turning an inheritance into a payday.
Brooke Hogan accused those close to Hulk Hogan of profiting from his legacy
The sale of Hulk Hogan’s Clearwater Beach mansion made Brooke Hogan revisit what she believed the people around her father took from him, even after his death.
Sharing an image of the property on her Instagram Stories with a prominent “SOLD” sticker, she expressed the pain of watching the home leave the family’s hands.
“The sick feeling is indescribable,” the TV personality wrote according to the Daily Mail.
The beachfront property, measuring approximately 5,400 square feet, was listed in January for nearly $11 million before selling for $5.9 million.
A nearby guest house also changed hands for $2.8 million. However, although the transactions included millions of dollars, Brooke’s response was based on what she felt the property represented and who benefited from its sale.
She accused people who had been close to her father of exploiting his name and position for personal gain. Her anger was particularly evident in another Instagram post, where she wrote, “Enjoy your dirty money. You took my dad.
Brooke also challenged the idea that fame necessarily meant someone had a reliable support system. She argued that people were willing to show up when there was something to gain from Hulk’s celebrity, rather than when he really needed them.
“Apparently EVERYONE will show up in the end if you’re famous enough and they profit from your death,” she wrote.
Brooke remembers the family times the mansion did

The emotional stress behind Brooke Hogan’s anger came from the life she remembered inside the building, not just its financial value.
The singer described years of sharing the home with her father and Hulk’s ex-wife Jennifer McDaniel, whom he married in 2010 and divorced in 2021.
Her memories were quite typical for a family associated with professional wrestling and celebrities. They would cook together, watch television, play music, and cry. It was these moments, Brooke suggested, that made the building unstable for her.
“I walked into that garage every time and grabbed him when he opened the garage door. I sat next to him for hours in the chair he died in,” she continued.
Brooke said she and McDaniel also helped nurse Hulk through repeated health challenges, including back surgeries and knee and hip replacements. Those years of caring informed her criticism of people she believed had not shown the same level of commitment.
“Apparently EVERYONE will show up in the end if you’re famous enough and they benefit from your death,” she concluded.
Brooke Hogan clarified that her criticism was directed at friends and family

Brooke’s accusations raised questions about who she thought took advantage of Hulk, but she later clarified that her anger was not aimed at the WWE wrestlers.
Instead, she said she was referring to certain friends and family members who she believed used her father’s fame for their own benefit.
Talking to Us magazinethe 38-year-old woman explained why the sale of the mansion affected her so much.
“There is something very disturbing about watching one’s life and memories reduced to transactions,” she said.
Brooke continued by comparing the emotional meaning of a family home to the financial opportunities that others might see in it. According to her, “Some people see a home full of history and love. Others just see what it’s worth.”
Brooke said that people’s behavior when they were no longer benefiting from someone could tell how they had valued that person in their life.

Brooke detailed the family betrayal behind her broken relationships

Brooke Hogan’s anger over the sale of her late father’s mansion reflected a much deeper rift in the family, one that extended beyond disagreements over money or property.
In a September interview with Us magazineBrooke described years of strained relationships, especially with her brother, Nick Hogan, and her mother, Linda Hogan.
She also challenged the public image of family unity they pursued throughout their reality television lives.
“A collection of happy pictures is not necessarily the same as a healthy family dynamic,” the “About Us” singer explained, adding, “I feel like The Truman Show is my life. [But] when the cameras stopped rolling, the masks stayed on. “
Her relationship with Nick had become particularly sour. When he said publicly that he was proud of his sister, Brooke disputed the suggestion that they were on good terms.
“We are not in contact, and his characterization of our relationship does not reflect my experience,” she told the magazine.
The conflict also involved the father’s personal affairs. Brooke remembered asking Nick for one of Hulk’s crosses after his death, hoping to keep something meaningful.
Although Nick gave her both crosses, she said neither one she recognized as something their father regularly wore.
Brooke Hogan was reluctant to leave Hulk’s will over safety concerns

The breakdown in Brooke’s family relationships also shaped a subsequent decision regarding her father’s estate.
When she appeared in April 2026 on the “Hollywood Raw Podcast with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn,” she explained why she voluntarily removed herself from the Hulk’s will in 2023. Her decision, she said, came from fear and distrust rather than a lack of interest in her father’s affairs.
“There were situations that scared me so much,” Brooke admitted. “I took myself off the will because I was afraid for myself, my family, my safety.”
She also explained that she wanted to avoid being involved in a family dispute over money. Her concerns were rooted in what she saw within the family, including years of legal battles with her father.
At the time, Brooke believed that distancing herself from the estate was the safest option. However, Hulk’s death left her facing an unexpected consequence: she no longer had a formal role in decisions regarding inheritance and legacy.
“I’m sorry for that decision. Not because of the money – I’ve never been about the money – but because I don’t have a seat at the table now,” she said.
