Hi, Beyond the Gates fans, we’ve got your early edition spoilers for the week starting October 26th, including Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammad) going on a rampage despite a promise to keep things peaceful. In addition, Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) is completely blind at a time when she should be enjoying her life.
We dive into what’s happening from October 26 – 30, including the big kickoff to the November sweepstakes, which begins Thursday the 29th, and all kinds of wild stuff is going to happen. As we always do on early editing day, we’ll be talking about what’s happening the rest of this week and then going into next week’s action.
Beyond the Gates: Kat struggles with Wedding Prep
So on Wednesday, October 21st, if you haven’t seen it yet, we have some problems with Kat as we prepare for Dr. Ted Richardson’s (Keith D. Robinson) wedding. Kat is, I’m sure, worried about what Eva Thomas Richardson (Ambyr Michelle) is so involved means. Dana ‘Leslie’ Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) is never far behind when it comes to wreaking havoc. Although Kat and Eva promised Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson) that they would behave themselves until the wedding goes off peacefully, I think it will be a real struggle.
Eva and Izaiah Hawthorne (David Lami Friebe) take a little trip down memory lane as they talk about their romance. They are so cute together, and Eva is trying to understand his long-term relationship with Kat, but I expect Eva’s involvement in the wedding will provoke Kat into a rage for much longer.
Bradley ‘Smitty’ Smith (Mike Manning) is worried because Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) seems to be avoiding the obvious. Smitty is worried about what his arrest could do to Martin’s campaign, and his player seems blindly optimistic.
Beyond the Gates: The Extraordinary Life Story of Dani
This week, we have Dani welcoming guest star Tia Allen (Tabitha Brown) to the Fairmont Crest Country Club. Dani is excited to see her, and Tia talks about Dani’s upcoming appearance on a so-called show Welcome to Your Life. This will bring friends and family together to tell Dani’s life story, and she’s very focused on it.
But Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) is not on board. It looks like he doesn’t want to be on the TV show with Dani, because it might trigger Heather Armstrong (Ashley Jones) because she’s totally jealous. And of course, neither Dani’s current husband nor her ex are going to enjoy this chat scene after seeing the result, because someone from Bill’s past is bothering him.
Beyond the Gates: A Blast from the Past
Also, this week, we have guest star Kandi Burruss. You may know her from Real Housewives of Atlantaor from being the lead singer of Xscape. She is gorgeous. And she plays Kalista Kilroy, who flirts with Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) at the country club.
And Kalista says, “Unless it’s Bill Hamilton. He’s shocked and asks, “What the hell are you doing here, Kalista?” So, it seems like a very unpleasant blast from Bill’s past, but more importantly, she’s a blast from Dani’s past.
The promises Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) and Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) made to each other are a struggle to keep. Both are trying to leave their jobs and Smitty’s case outside of their marriage and home, but that is about to get harder.
Beyond the Gates: The Chat Show
Thursday, October 22, we have Dani’s talk show going on, and we have all kinds of families there. So, what we are going to watch is the episode of Welcome to Your Life. Tia is hosting. We have Tatum, the fashion designer that Dani collaborates with, on the show, behaving much better than some of the other people. We have her bestie, Pamela Curtis (Cady McClain).
Andre, despite his protest, is going to be on the talk show with her. Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla) and Naomi are there, and her sister, Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix). Everyone is important in Dani’s family. Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) and Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) are also on the show, as is the drag queen she and Andre married.
Beyond the Gates: The History of Kalista
But Kalista is on the set of Dani’s talk show and says about Bill, “He’s a terrible person.” Now, it turns out that Kalista was Dani’s first modeling agent. So that means that Kalista has known Dani since she was a teenager. And Kalista has visions at Fairmont Crest along with Dani’s sister, Nicole, among others. So Dani is blind, and Bill is taken aback by what Kalista has to say, and Bill yells, “Stop.”
But Dani tells him no and then walks away from Bill, annoyed, and he asks, “Why the hell would you do that?” Therefore, it seems that it ranks at Kalista. And Bill seems insulted and embarrassed to be called out on national TV. And Dani is not happy at all.
Beyond the Gates: Fallout and Revelations
So, I’m wondering if Kalista wasn’t just Dani’s first agent, but maybe he banned Bill back in the day behind Dani’s back. Sounds like something Bill would do. And if, indeed, it would be reassuring for Dani to realize that Bill has been cheating on her almost from the beginning.
So, Kalista has some kind of grudge against Dani. I don’t know if Dani sent her away as her manager. We will find out. But official Beyond the Gates spoilers say Kalista feels justified in putting Dani in front of the world. So then we have Naomi, Chelsea, and Andre comforting Dani and helping her with the fallout after Kalista’s appearance and everything on the Welcome to Your Life The TV show turns out badly. Bill has been hoping for a chance to get back together with Dani, but this Kalista thing seems to have made it even less likely.
Beyond the Gates: Hayley’s shocking news
Friday, October 23 Beyond the GatesHayley Lawson (Marquita Goings) is still hoping Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry) will come back with a new ID and a better backstory than the blue-collar hussy with bad taste in men, or the librarian. I mean, Hayley isn’t looking with a book. Maybe a hook, but not a book.
And then, while eating with Leslie at Orphe Jeanswe are in awe of Hayley. Leslie says inappropriate words, and Hayley tells Leslie, asking, “Are you saying I’m gaining weight?” But then Hayley looks like she’s about to drop her cookies and run out to the bathroom. And we all know what queasy on soap means: a pregnancy red flag. If you hope to see Bill’s ex leave the DMVthink again.
Beyond the Gates: Naomi promotes Bill
Naomi encourages her father, Bill, to dig deeper. After the thing with Kalista, I’m sure Bill feels doubly stupid. He chose Hayley, who tried to kill him. Bill was going around with women like Kalista, apparently when he had a diamond at home in Dani, and he didn’t treat her right. Maybe Naomi will encourage Bill to do some introspection and work on himself, and not dive into the dating app Chelsea got him until Bill settles down.
Ted compliments Andre on Dani. So, it looks like Ted is very happy with how well Dani and Andre did on the show, especially in the face of more embarrassment from Bill.
Beyond the Gates: Heather’s Dark Version
Heather is someone who doesn’t like this show. She is triggered by the end of this week and is becoming dangerous. She is sitting with Dani and Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) at Fairmont Crest Country Cluband Heather saying she couldn’t let his old woman flash his new woman in front of her every day, while telling Dani, “He would kill me.” And then Heather grabs a knife and stabs Dani in the chest. So, it looks horrible, and I’m sure it’s either Heather’s twisted fantasy in her head or Andre’s worst nightmare, as he’s paranoid after more threats from Heather about her wanting him back.
Beyond the Gates: November Sweeps Outlook
Then the week of October 26-30 onwards Beyond the Gateslook for more fallout for Andre from Heather. He gets a big win because Bill was called out on Dani’s big day. But if he doesn’t get Heather out of his life, Andre’s lies are about to fall apart.
Bill is reeling from this humiliation on national TV, thanks to Kalista. I’m sure it came, though. And it’s going to be a one-two punch if Hayley is pregnant. She may initially want to terminate the pregnancy, as she is not exactly mom material. But I guess Leslie is going to tell her that the bun in that oven is eighteen years’ pay for taking Bill to the cleaners every day.
Beyond the Gates: Leslie’s Story of Bill
And as Hayley struggles to find a new identity to move forward with, she might stop and listen when Leslie tells her story about Bill scaring her during her pregnancy. Dani and Andre’s marriage is stronger after the talk show, but Heather’s mess is about to hit hard.
Smitty hoping to get good news from Naomi’s expert, to say the movie Upper town it was converted to digital. Shanice’s wedding plans kick into high gear. We will find out if Leslie is really taking the high road or just biding her time. And with sweeps starting on Thursday, October 29th, I hope to see the long running Heather the Impaler story finally come to an end.
