Off Campus‘ Belmont Cameli has a visible response Tyler Cameron perform his famous salsa dance on screen Dancing With The Stars.
“I saw that. And he killed too,” said Cameli, 28, in an interview with Sunday, September 27. Entertainment tonight on the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards red carpet. “And the guy looks good, and he gave it his all, and that’s what I like, that’s what it’s all about. Tyler did really well.”
Cameron, 33, performed the salsa live on Tuesday, September 22, to “Girls” by The Laroi Childwhich mirrored the song originally chosen Off Campus for its season 1 premiere in May. Cameron, who competes with pro Sharna Burgess On the 35th season of ABC Dancing With The Starswho scored 16 out of 30 for the performance.
Cameli, who stars next door Ella Bright in the Prime Video romance drama series, he said he also saw Cameron’s man DWTS competitive Guillermo Rodriguez try the original dance. “I saw a video of Guillermo doing it too, and Guillermo f***ing killed it,” Cameli told the outlet. “Sexy little dance.”
Cameli attended the VMAs with Bright, 19, posing for pictures with her on the event’s red carpet. Appearing friendly and smiling in each other’s company, their appearance seemed to dispel any lingering rumors of a feud. (Social media users were convinced a few weeks ago that Cameli deleted, or archived, several Instagram photos featuring Bright.)
The pair even addressed the rumors in separate interviews with Entertainment tonight. “I mean, I laugh every time I hear them,” Cameli said. Bright said, “All the days that I’m on set, we’re, like, in the green room, and it’s like, ‘Did you see this?’ and I’m like, ‘LOL.'”

He concluded, “I’m happy to send it [the rumors] to bed Ella and I are very close.” Bright also concluded, “He’s one of my best friends. He doesn’t need to know that, but he does.”

The show is based on the book series by Helen Kennedy and follows an elite ice hockey team and the women in their lives.
