In a lengthy video, the “Blow the Whistle” artist addressed his earlier statements about Diddy’s release from prison and said he was not fully aware of the allegations made against the Bad Boy rapper. While concluding, Too $hort, whose real name is Todd Anthony Shaw, said he was totally against violence and abuse and shared his hope for the “Tell Me” rapper after his release.
“I was a little careless with my words,” the California native said in a video posted to Instagram. “I said I didn’t condone what he did to Cassie, but I would go to his party if he came home, and I didn’t know the full extent of it.”
Shaw went on to say that he was not aware of the countless women who accused Diddy of physical, sexual and mental abuse during his main trial in the summer of 2025. “I do not condone abuse in any way. It is not emotional, it is not physical, it is not sexual, and I do not support anyone who does it,” he said.
Ro $hort Means He Was Willing To Live With Diddy After He Was Released From Federal Prison
For those who may have missed it, Shaw became the topic of conversation earlier this month when he appeared on the TMZ podcast and said he wanted to hang out with Diddy after he was released from federal prison. “I’m going to Puff Daddy’s ‘Coming Home’ party when he comes home,” he previously said, adding that aside from the hotel photos of Diddy assaulting Cassie, the rapper should not be behind bars.
After a pushback, Shaw clarified his stance in his latest post and said he was against abuse. “I don’t support abuse or abusers,” he said before adding that it was “hard to say those words.” And that wasn’t all he had to say. “If anything I said hurt anyone, I’m really sorry,” he said.
Ro $hort says he’s been to ‘dozens’ of Diddy’s parties

According to the BBC, Diddy was charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution in September 2024.
Prosecutors described the disgraced rap mogul as the leader of an alleged criminal enterprise that exploited women by using threats of violence to lure them into drug-fuelled sex parties known as “Freak Offs”.
Legal documents also revealed that Diddy had rented hotel rooms and hired sex workers for the alleged parties.
Shaw said in his video apology that when he mentioned going to Diddy’s party, he meant the ones Diddy throws for his friends, “not any party where he’s a f-cking oil baby or some sex god.”
He concluded: “I’ve been to dozens of his parties and I’ve never seen a naked person or a sexual act. …I hope when my brother comes home he’s grown.”
