With the success of the Spider-Man: A New Day and the year Avengers: Endgame re-release, the Marvel Cinematic Universe doesn’t seem to be on shaky ground anymore. Still, the message seems clear: audiences will show up to theaters for events, and not every MCU project is guaranteed to be a huge success anymore. The highest-grossing film franchise in history had been stagnant for a decade, but has taken a number of hits in the past few years. The franchise hopes to come back this December to reinforce the expected level Avengers: Doomsdaywhich has already crossed a majestic box office milestone with more than two months left for its release.
According to Global Box Office, the film has grossed over $100 million in pre-release ticket sales worldwide. Endgame has grossed more than $120 million worldwide thanks to pushed-through re-releases James Cameronand Avatar became the highest grossing film in world box office history. Collider Exclusive · 8 questions · 2 minutes Who A superhero team Should you join? Avengers · X-Men · Teen Titans · The Boys
Each team is a personality test with uniforms. One saves the world and argues about it all the way home. One has been fighting for the right to exist since the day it was created. One person is still working out who it is as the fight takes place. And no one has any powers, and there is no expectation of fair play. Eight questions decide who you really belong to.

01
What kind of power would you really want? The power is less than what you would be willing to do with it.
02
Why join a team at all? No one puts on the suit for the reason that they say out loud.
03
How do you feel about the people in charge? Each team has a chain of command. Very few of them survive contact.
04
What is your role within an organisation? Every table needs the same handful of people to work.
05
How do you win a fight you should lose? This is the scene that the entire film is built around.
06
How much will this job cost you? No one does this for free. The bill just arrives in a different way for everyone.
07
How should the world see your team? Half of this job is public relations, and everyone knows it.
08
The offer is coming. What makes you say yes? Eight questions in, this is the one that decides your team.
Recruitment is complete Your team is…
Four teams, four completely different reasons to risk yourself for strangers. This is the roster you are really on, what they would want from you, and what it would cost you to stay.
Marvel Studios · The Avengers · Since 2012
The Avengers
You belong where the biggest stakes and the loudest personalities are. This is a team of people who are all used to being the most important person in the room, which is why it works and exactly why it almost falls apart.
The Avengers are not friends who became a team. They are a team that slowly and willingly became friends, and you could identify with every step of that process.
You can hold your own among big egos without needing to win every exchange, which is the real entry requirement here.
The argument is part of the method. This group does their best thinking in the middle of a disagreement, usually at a size, usually in a very expensive building.
When the skies open, they will appear. You would want to be standing in that line.
Marvel · X-Men · Since 1963
The X-Men
You have never had the pleasure to be grateful to for this. The X-Men protect a world they’ve never been comfortable with, and something in you understands exactly why they keep doing it anyway.
This is the only team on the list that doesn’t have a central conflict as a villain. It is being asked to leave by the same people they keep saving.
You know what it’s like to be the outsider in a room and decide, at least, not to make yourself any less so that everyone else is comfortable.
The X-Men are the most realistic family ever found in comics. People arrive with nowhere else to go and are never asked to explain themselves.
You wouldn’t be together for the glory. There never was any.
DC · Teen Titans · Since 1964
Teen Titans
You don’t want colleagues, you want your people. The Titans are the team where friendship first came and saving the world later turned out to be an inconvenient side effect.
Every Titan is a sidekick of someone who decided to stop being one. That conclusion, not the villain of the week, is what the team is all about.
You would be joining people who are all working out at the same time as you, which is less lonely than being the only one.
The Titans lose regularly. Then they eat together and come back better, which is a more honest model of growing up than any other team here manages.
The tower would be high, chaotic, and the first place that ever felt like you.
Main Video · The Boys · From 2019
The Boys
You don’t ask who you trust. You figured out the answer a while back and it wasn’t a man in a cape. This is where you go once you have decided that the people in charge need to watch, and that no one else is going to do it.
The Boys have no powers, no mandate or funding. What they do have is leverage, patience, and a very high tolerance for consequences.
You are the person in the room who notices what everyone else has silently agreed not to mention.
This is not a brave team and it has never been otherwise. It is a group of spoiled people who do essential work in ways that no one would call clean.
You don’t sleep well. You’d keep going anyway.
A lot is riding on ‘Avengers: Doomsday’
No doubt this will be a big reveal for him Doomsdaywho is ready to face him Dune: Part Three in December. Director Denis VilleneuveThe sci-fi trilogy-capper is also eyeing a franchise record of over $100 million domestically, which means a full-time weekend record is on the cards this December. Doomsday giving back Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans to the MCU after retiring from the franchise Endgame; while Evans returns as Captain America, Downey Jr. playing the iconic Marvel villain Doctor Doom. The film was directed by the Russo Brothers, who previously helmed both Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity War before embarking on a largely disappointing mega-budget streaming series.
