Andrew Cohen He is more than happy to say that he is in love with his girlfriend, Kevin Sobieski.
“He’s a very grown-up – loving man with two kids, who I know better than I’ve ever known myself,” Cohen, 58, said on the Tuesday, October 20, episode of Carlos Kingand anonymous podcast. “I’m more relaxed than I’ve ever been in my life and where I am and where I want to be, that’s exactly where I am. It’s very centered, it’s very calm and I’m very sure of it.”
Cohen, who welcomed son Ben and daughter Lucy via surrogate in 2019 and 2022, announced in June that he had been with Sobieski for almost a whole year.
“We had been holding hands for a year all over the West Village, and nobody really [said anything]” he said of taking his romance public. “I mean, we literally sit in restaurants holding hands, and nobody said anything. … I would have said something at the end because I want a certain level of transparency for the people in the chair across from me.
Cohen continued, “I was saying to him at that time, ‘At some point in the near future I have to let the cat out of the bag because I’m very happy and I want to share that with people.’ Also, it seems a little hypocritical not to talk about it when I ask other people, and I talk a lot on the radio too… talking a lot about me and my kids and everything else. It just seemed natural that that would happen. “
Cohen first revealed his relationship with Sobieski on an episode of his Andrew’s Radio show, noting that Ben and Lucy accept the businessman.
“They love him so much, and we didn’t tell them until eight months later that he was my boyfriend,” Cohen recalled on Tuesday’s program. “I let them fall in love with him, and they did before I ever said anything.”
