In March 2025, the couple announced the arrival of Enzo, showing the legs of the newborn and his hand in a pair of black and white photos on Instagram.

“Soaking everything right now,” they wrote in the caption. “Welcome to the world child Enzo.”

May 2020 marked the birth of their first child, which they also announced via social media.

“At 11:30am on May 7th, weighing 8lbs 5oz, Charlie Elena Carrasco made her grand entrance into the world,” Morgan wrote via Instagram at the time. “She made us wait longer than expected, but I should have known she would do it her way and only her way. My moon child.”

Her husband posted a photo to his own account, writing, “Charlie Elena Carrasco, we love you so much baby girl. Alex is such a hero. 5/7/20 – the best day of my life.”

Morgan and the midfielder got married in December 2014 in Santa Barbara, California. Four years later, the author told Breakaway Pro Soccer USA that their long-term marriage was “far from ideal.”

The Orlando Pride player explained in April 2018: “We know this is temporary. We can only play professional football for another five to six years. We have to take advantage of this, and know that when we’re done playing, we’ll be together.”

Morgan opened up about her retirement plans next year. “I would love to start a family,” said the Olympian Reuters in March 2019. “My husband definitely wants to stay in the football world, and I’m enjoying dipping my toes into new areas, like books and movies. It’s an exciting time.”

The striker wants her children to be “confident and dream big, regardless of the obstacles in the way,” she told the outlet at the time. “That’s what I did when I was 7, not knowing professional football was possible. I’d like to send that message home with them.
