Passenger Kristin Cavallari of Tennessee drew a speeding citation
Kristin Cavallari was cited after an Oct. 14 incident in which an officer said she drove 88 mph in a 70 mph zone, according to TMZ.

Cavallari was stopped for speeding in Illinois without a state permit

The October report renewed attention to an earlier traffic stop in Illinois. In September 2013, Kristin Cavallari was pulled over in Evanston after police accused her of speeding.
As ABc7 reportedly, the stop also raised another issue: she was driving with a California license, although authorities believed she was subject to Illinois resident driver requirements.
Cavallari was living in the Chicago area at the time, while she maintained that she was still living in California.
Illinois required people who established residency in the state to obtain an Illinois driver’s license after a specified period of time.
After the stop, the fashion designer was reportedly taken to a police station to post bond on the license issue.
She publicly protested the treatment on Twitter, writing, “Who knew taking a California driver’s license to the police station to post bail was a crime in Illinois?! What a morning”. She then explained her situation: “FYI…I still have an apartment in LA so I live in California.”
