For Dixie and Charli, growing up together meant sharing more than a last name. When asked how their relationship has evolved, Dixie described a childhood filled with the same activities and the same places. With so much overlap, it wasn’t always easy to tell where one sister’s choices ended and the other’s.

She compared it to being twins. “You live the same life,” she told The Blast. “Like the same people.” Even not liking something could become a decision. “Oh, you don’t like this? I don’t like this.” But as they have grown older, Dixie has begun to find out what she wants for herself.

Dixie was careful to speak for herself when she talked about how the sisters have grown. For her, being yourself has meant looking beyond the identity they shared growing up and giving herself space to find what is appropriate. That doesn’t mean there has to be drama between them. Her comments focused on something that many sisters can relate to, especially those who grew up practically attached at the hip.

Ultimately, sharing everything can lead to different interests, different preferences, and different ideas about what’s next. And a sister who knows you well does not mean that she can do everything for you.

Being an older sister can bring many ideas. Whether a younger sibling wants to hear them is another story. Dixie spoke to that familiar push and pull as he talked about the importance of letting them have their own experiences. “You have to learn by experiencing,” she said.

Even when advice comes from someone close, there are things people have to work through themselves. For Dixie, letting that space feel freeing. After growing up doing so much together, the siblings can make their own choices without knowing everything.

She also uses the same perspective in her own life, including the parts of fame that were not easy.

Dixie’s rise on TikTok got a lot of attention, but ask her if it gave her more than it took away, and her answer isn’t that simple. Instead, she celebrated what she learned along the way. “Even if it’s just knowing what not to do again,” she told The Blast.

Dixie explained that going through these experiences has given her knowledge that she can carry into whatever comes next. That includes allowing herself to change her mind. When asked if she had ever considered leaving the public eye completely, Dixie said yes. She compared the feeling to being so consumed with work that stepping away starts to feel appealing. But wanting a break at one point doesn’t necessarily mean feeling that way forever.

To explain how her interests can change, Dixie reached for an example far removed from TikTok. After graduating from high school, she recalled thinking, “I never want to touch a book again,” but “Now, all I want to do is read.”

Today, Dixie also sees value in the doors her public platform can open, including opportunities to connect with people and participate in charitable activities through Raising Cane’s. She spoke to The Blast at the brand’s Oct. 15 event in Baton Rouge, where reality TV stars and influencers gathered ahead of a tour of the nearby 30th Birthday Pop-Up Museum with owner and founder Todd Graves.

As for her next chapter, Dixie is still searching for it. And after years of sharing so much of her life with Charli, she’s giving herself space to find out what she wants too.
