Jeff Lewis and Real Housewives of Orange County a star Gina Kirschenheiter have been going back and forth at each other for some time now.
It all started when Jeff, 56, said he couldn’t work with Gina because he “can’t work with her budget. He also took another dig at her, saying that “broke people shouldn’t have big weddings.”
At last month’s Bravo Fan Fest in Charleston, South Carolina, Gina, 42, hit back at Jeff.
In particular, she noted that she was okay with him not remodeling her house because of how he was “remodeling” his face, capturing Jeff’s appearance.
Sitting on stage with Gina was long time friend Jeff Shannon Beadorwho appears RHOC next to Gina.
Jeff took to his radio show to talk about Shannon, 62, and how disappointed he was that she didn’t have his back when Gina insulted him.
He admitted that he was “a little disappointed” in her.
“She didn’t protect me,” Jeff said.
He also blamed the Bravo head honcho Andrew Cohen to start this when he first asked Jeff Watch what’s happening live and then just sit there.
After the comments at the Bravo Fan Fest, Jeff noted that Shannon texted him and demanded that she “know she was wrong.”
Her text is said to read, “Just got home from Nashville seeing my mom, wanted to talk to you about the whole Gina thing. I have been so out of it. I don’t know what’s going on in your head. Call me when you can.”
“Hi, I can call you later,” Jeff replied. “ I only needed a few days to process it. I was disappointed that you didn’t protect me on stage at Fan Fest. We can talk about it.”
He shared Shannon, and then she said she was “sorry” he was upset.
“I don’t like that. Just say I’m sorry,” he said.
“I would protect her fiercely,” he said. “And by the way, I would also have strongly defended Andy Cohen, who sat there with his card over his mouth and should have said something, because we’ve been friends for what? 19 years. He protects many of these housewives. [I’ve] having been friends longer than any of these people. So, I’m disappointed in him too.”
Jeff explained that whenever Shannon is criticized, he is the first to defend her on his radio show.
He concluded by noting that they would “talk it through.”
Shannon has yet to comment on the situation with Jeff.
