Jeff Lewis Blasts Ex Gage Edward’s Instagram Post Criticizing Ratings On ‘Still Flipping Out’ As ‘Unhinged’ And ‘Next Level Crazy’

Jeff Lewis recently returned to Bravo with his new show, Still turning out.

While Jeff, 56, shares a daughter with ex Edward Gage42, Gage does not participate in the new series.

On September 9, Gage took to Instagram to share a video with the following caption: “After much discussion with my family, I have decided not to go back to filming after seven seasons. Thank you @bravotv for the opportunity and memories.

Clearly, Gage was saying that he was not invited to participate in the new show.

In the clip, he said, “Hey, guys, so I just wanted to come here real quick. A lot of you have been asking, um, and I’ve really, you know, thought deep and hard, and I’ve decided to focus on other opportunities and other projects, and just focus on my family.. So, you know, I wanted you to hear it from me first.”

“After seven years of being on Turns outI’m going to take a break from filming this year,” he continued. You know, the door is always open, so you never know what might happen. But, yeah, so they didn’t call me back. They didn’t send an email. No one reached out. But it’s okay because I have so many things to focus on. So, um, I won’t be on this season, I’m just – spoiler alert!”

Gage noted that the team “has gone in a different direction.”

“I don’t think it’s good for… for me right now at this time… it’s not right for me and my family at this time,” he said. So, I’m going to focus on my family, my other projects, and, um… yeah, I just wanted you to hear it from me first, so. I wish the team all the best, you know. I think it will probably be a good season. I’m sure they don’t talk about me at all, so I’m just, you know, carry on, carry on my projects, and yeah, we’ll see you down the road, you know? Okay, bye-bye.”

Then, two days ago, Gage returned to Instagram with an update where he took a serious dig at Jeff and his new show, noting that there’s an “inside rating” in the caption.

“Oh my god, guys, I have to give you an update,” Gage began. So, I put up this reel, just, you know, describing my situation, and how, after seven years of filming and eight years off from filming, I’m like, it’s time to pump the brakes..”

“I had to focus on me, finally, for once,” he explained. “I’m just going to focus on all these opportunities, and as, just as things are, being thrown at me.”

Gage clearly stated that he can’t “film.”

“I told you, I basically launched my career as a hitman, and the crazy thing is that more people watched that reel than watched the entire television show, the entire first episode,” he said. “So, I don’t know, maybe I’m onto something. You know, like all those production dollars and, you know, the months of pre-production, and the ‘edit this’ and ‘clip that’ and ‘reset that dinner scene because we didn’t get it the first time’… um, you know, all that stuff.”

Gage repeated that he spent “five minutes” posting a reel and that “more people were watching it.”

“So, Bravo, maybe you’ll call me next time,” he concluded. “So anyway, yes, so I’m a hitman, it’s official. Now you know one of my chances, big surprise. Ok, see you next time.”

Jeff, never one to shy away from a back and forth with someone, took to his SiriusXM radio show, Jeff Lewis liveanswer

“There was a rumor going around that we had to shoot that twice,” he said. “That’s not true.”

He then spoke to Gage, stating, “This is scary because you’d rather be… poor, and then, you know, you’d rather….”

Jeff noted that he had “seen” Gage’s Instagram post even though he is blocked.

“It’s next-level crazy, like unstoppable, unstoppable,” he said.

Gage has yet to respond to Jeff’s rebuttal.
